A MAD 100 bill: who would pay?
The note announces state coverage of the entire monthly electricity bill when it is MAD 100 or less. This is neither a VAT exemption nor MAD 100 off every bill.
Within the announced threshold. Implementation and eligibility remain to be checked.
Move to 100, then 101: above 100 the note does not announce partial coverage. This models the threshold only, not entitlement.

MAD 500 → 600: what does the increase mean?
This is the minimum aid for eligible households, not a student scholarship or universal payment. Amounts depend on household composition and programme conditions.

From producer to basket: where can prices change?
Seasonal plans for cereals, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, red meat, sardines and olive oil aim to anticipate shortages.
Six regional distribution companies to be launched, cold storage and direct producer-retailer contracts. Lower losses may reduce costs, without guaranteeing a lower retail price.
Monitor producer, wholesale and retail prices, stocks and margins. The announced aim is transparency and competition, not a quantified basket discount.

The bill proposes permanent import-VAT exemption for live cattle, sheep, goats and camels, and their fresh, chilled or frozen meat and offal. This targets import cost; retail prices also depend on transport, supply and margins. No retail price reduction percentage is guaranteed here.

The note plans MAD 19.4 billion to continue support for butane, sugar and national soft-wheat flour. The MAD 22 billion 2026 reference includes an additional MAD 8 billion. These envelopes do not establish a price reduction for each product.

Households meeting the conditions of the relevant schemes. The note alone cannot establish personal eligibility.
Social aid: a conditional minimum amount
The announced increase in the described minimum is MAD 100 a month, or 20%. It does not promise MAD 600 to every Moroccan household. Targeting and payment rules remain decisive.
Electricity: the threshold applies to the whole bill
The wording concerns a total bill of MAD 100 or less. It does not say the first MAD 100 of every bill is free. The mechanism, beneficiaries and implementation arrangements still need verification.
